Meeting 4.25.2017-1 REV.jpg\" width=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Port Commission approved Port Houston\u2019s fiscal year 2016 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) at a public meeting April 25.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Port Houston is required by law to be audited each year by a Certified Public Accountant, and in addition to the auditor\u2019s opinion, the CAFR incorporates Port Houston\u2019s financial statements as well as supporting information.<\/p>\n<p>Port Houston management provides its views on the regional economic outlook, the port\u2019s financial planning and major initiatives.
